Me First!
Me
First is an organisation set up to protect the interests of the conservative
and wealthy in New Zealand. We are not affiliated with any political party - Our
supporters are drawn from a number of backgrounds. Most are ACT supporters, some
vote National, and a few support the United Party.
Me
First members are individuals concerned about the growing trend towards social conscience
that is occurring in New Zealand. We feel that too much money is spent on
the so-called needy elements of society - money that rightfully belongs to us.
The
chief policy of Me First is to put our own interests first before those of
others. We support those parties and policies that benefit us personally, and
reject the idea expressed by some parties that we have a social responsibility
towards the "less fortunate" people in our country.
Our
organisation is open to all New Zealanders who adhere to the Me First official
creed.
